Moon Day

Tonight the moon is full. Look up. It’s just as stunning as it has been for millennia. O Great Diana. Hail Goddess of the Moon and of the night.
Pop Chart Lab’s Grand Taxonomy of Rap Names
October 21, 2010
How awesome is this, info nerds? Pop Chart Lab’s Grand Taxonomy of Rap Names is the classification chart to end all classification charts. Click over to see all the “Markies” (Biz Markie, Marky Mark) and rappers of the “Animal, Vegetable, Mineral” ilk (Snoop Dogg, Black Eyed Peas, Aesop Rock). It’s a beautiful thing.
Moving On, Moving Out
September 17, 2010
I heard someone say that about a soon-to-be-terminated employee once: “She’s moving on and moving out.” Nice. Actually, it was the head surgeon at my clinic but never mind. Point is, in the spirit of filling up the hard drives of the world with blather, I’ve imported my posts from my old Blogger blog for access here (not my really old blog, thank goodness. I have some shame). Why, you may ask? Why should anyone care? I don’t have that answer for you. But I care. I do. And the dreaded Facebook just won’t do for this sort of thing. So, when it comes to living in public, I’m moving on and moving over to my own domain here at dianejwright.com. Whether anyone’s out there or not, here is where I’ll be.
